Wine produced from organically grown grapes
Delicate, fine, white flower aromas develop in the glass, white fruit persists in the mouth,fatness and vividness, supported delicately by light woody tannins. A full character product which defines LIRAC’S CRU TERROIR.
Vintage : 2012
Soil : The original site of the LIRAC appellation ; Pliocene sand and pebbles. The vines really thrive here, their roots plunging deep into the soil
Grape varieties : 50% Grenache blanc, 40% Roussanne, 10% Clairette.
Average vines age - 35 years.
Vinification : The harvest is brought in by night to prevent oxidation and avoid hogh temperatures. Macération for a few hours. Fermentation at a temperature of 17° with natural yeasts. After racking, stirring of thr less in French-oak barrels.
Wine and food : fish, seafood, salads...
To keep the wine : 2-3 years.
